Gram is known for their insta-worthy food photos and a retro themed setting. However, what most viewers don't know is that the restaurant is open-air and petite to say the least. The food portions also match the venue size but to our disappointment, the food prices didn't.
The small eatery's kitchen is merely a minuscule counter behind which the food is prepared. On the other side, 22 seats surround small wooden tables kept cool from Bangkok's year-round heat by white awnings and fans. Unfortunately, the open-air setting means if it rains, the restaurant cannot operate. On top of that, the restaurant doesn't have much ambiance featuring the hustle and bustle noises of the main road.
Gram's best dishes are categorized as breakfast nonetheless, their pancakes and french toast can easily be enjoyed as a treat at any time of the day. The menu does include a range of other treats from yoghurt and "gram-ola" to pulled pork burgers and carbonara.
The cookies and cream milkshake proved to be the perfect balance of creaminess and liquidity.
The bacon pancakes definitely satisfied our savory cravings and Gram's customer service was exceptional- honey and maple syrup offered upon our request.

The caramel and banana french toast was very photogenic but quite dry and lacking the juiciness we expected.
