Game Over Lounge // NERD by Daniel Thaiger

Savory burgers and a wide-screen for video games. What else could a guy want?
That's not to say Game Over Lounge isn't enjoyable by women as well.
Game Over Lounge features a large room with multiple advanced desk tops for with a variety of different games to choose from next to a main lounge area with wooden tables and couches for non-gamers. Game Over offers various consoles such as Play Station 4, Xbox One and Wii U. Unfortunately, the plethora of very expensive looking computers didn't appear to be used by many during our visits. Instead, each time we visited, we found the main lounge area packed with many customers. Don't be fooled by their gaming set-up as this feature is only available to those who pay a monthly membership.
The lounge also contains a pool table (which is almost always being used by someone), a foosball table (also always high in demand) and a ping pong table that switches from an eating table to a beer pong court. These all cost hourly to play though. Another highlight of the restaurant is their extensive board game collection. Jenga, pictionary, monopoly, life, you name it, they have it. To our disappointment, many of the games such as battlefield are only available to members.
Besides their entertainment, Game Over Lounge is a great restaurant for friends and families. The restaurant's music taste deserves a mention for selecting modern but chilled remixes of popular songs.
Daniel Thaiger's burgers have reason to be popular. A crispy buttered bun with flavorful meat and tasty sauce, it's hard to beat their food standards.

On top of that, their famous Parmesan truffle fries are more than worth it.

There is a reason you only associate Daniel Thaiger with their burgers or fries. We tried the tuna melt and it was a huge disappointment in comparison to all their other dishes. When at Daniel Thaiger, stick to the basics.

As far as drinks go, the vanilla malt milkshake tasted very strange and the malt was too strong while the peanut butter milkshake was too sweet and extremely filling. Perhaps if they diluted it with milk it would have been more enjoyable. In addition, the drinks are overpriced at over 200B for a glass that's only been filled to 2/3.

To wrap things up, Daniel Thaiger burgers and fries are a must-try and Game Over Lounge has great atmosphere for sharing drinks and burgers with friends and family. If you're a fan of board games, that's a plus but don't be disappointed when a lot of their facilities have limited access.

Warning: reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant is almost always full, especially Friday nights and the weekend
