Yoghurtland has just introduced three new flavors to their Asok branch on the ground floor of Terminal 21 (next to the Gourmet Market). We sampled all three of Yoghurtland's new flavors: Dulce de Leche, Pecans & Pralines and Key Lime Tart.

The Pecans & Pralines can be compared to their other original flavor- Salted Caramel Pecan. While both have a prominent caramel flavor, Salted Caramel Pecan was our preferred option as it had the consistency of frozen yoghurt unlike its counterpart which tasted more like ice cream. Customers come to a frozen yoghurt stall to get a healthier, lighter alternative to ice cream. However, Pecans & Pralines is just a sweeter version of Caramel Pecan. We found that the original flavour had a caramel base and salty, pecan undertones that kept us coming back for more. On the other hand, after one bite of Pecans & Praline, we found it too heavy and rich to continue. This was surprising because it was advertised to only have 25 calories per wt. oz. while Caramel Pecan contains 30 calories per fl oz. In addition,Yoghurtland claims Pecans & Praline is sugar free; the taste of the yoghurt definitely tells a different story.
Key Lime Tart was much better than Pecans & Praline, but we preferred our old time favorite Mango Mixer to this new addition. The flavor is still something we'd try again. The light, key lime flavor isn't too heavy or too faint and undertones of Key Lime Pie keep it interesting. Overall, a good flavor but not the best we've had at Yoghurtland.
Dulce de Leche tasted almost identical to caramel ice cream, but without the dense and creamy feel ice cream has. This was our favourite flavour from the three new additions to the stall. With a dash of almonds sprinkled on top, Dulce de Leche was a caramel-lover's dream.
On a side note, the staff appear to have been changed and upon realization that the sample cups were no longer out on display, we requested for the little dishes. Much to our disappointment, the woman on duty would not let us get our own samples which takes away from Yoghurtland's trademark DIY experience.
